Tent halls are designed to be compatible with the appropriate wind-load demands according to PN-B-02011:1997/Az1:2009 and snow-load demands according to PN-80/B-02010/Az1:2006.
|
|
Since October 2006 the new values of snow load, which significantly increase the requirements to buildings erected in the area of Poland, have been in force. The fabric covered buildings fabricated by Rubo Sp. z o.o. fulfill the above mentioned requirements by offering a passive safety of use during the winter period.
It means, that there is neither a necessity of warming up the hall in order to remove snow from the roof, nor the necessity of removing snow in any other way.
The following link allows to acquaint with current zones of snow loads :
THE NEW MAP OF GROUND SNOW LOADS
Since July 2009 inure the new values for wind loads, which significantly increases the requirements for buildings carried out on the territory of Poland.

STRUCTURE
|
COVERING
|
|
The main supporting structure is made up of bar frames made from ST3S steel. The maximal distance between the bar frames equals max. 5 m.
The main frames are connected by spacer steel girders and beams. This type of construction is used when the span is greater than 10 meters. All the elements of the construction are connected using bolts.
Connection of the supporting structure with the ground is performed by pre-manufactured foundation feet or steel plates directly to the ground.
This system allows a fast assembly and upgrading of the hall.
Using undercoat and surface layer of paint, or fire galvanization ensures anti-corrosion protection.
Fire safety
The structure is tested flame retardant and self-extinguishing.
The structural membrane melts away where exposed to fire, thereby releasing heat and smoke.
There is no structural damage to the hot-dipped galvanized steel frame and a new membrane can be quickly fabricated and installed.

Hall covering is made of light polyester web coated with high-quality PVC-material (tarpaulin). Material of covering weighs ca 600-900 g/m2 and distinguish by its translucent properties, reinforced durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is also waterproof and nonporous.
This material is classified as non-flammable according to PN-EN ISO 6940 and PN-EN ISO 6941.
The assembly of tarpaulin system is very easy. On the static elements of the construction, an aluminium profile is fixed which allows the smooth assembly of the tarpaulin, the corners of which are stiffened with flexible rods made of a type of plastic known as "keder".
This solution ensures tight and durable connections between tarpaulins and creates good conditions for installing tarpaulins over its whole length, and it evens the rope load across the surface during strong winds.
This eliminates the build up of tension, which allows a reduction in the size of some sections and as a result reduces the weight of the construction.
A very important advantage of this system of tarpaulin assembly is the exclusion of the possibility of edges fraying along the joins, thus increasing the structure's working life.

Additional equipment
|
Multifunctional buildings
|
|
Complex execution of all element of equipment essential for its planned use is possible within the confines of supply of tent hall.
The additional range of equipment of hall can include:
- heating installation,
- ventilating installation,
- lighting installation,
- lightning protector installation,
- draining installation (rainwater),
- sports areas,
- industrial parquets,
- installations of artificial ice rinks,
- acustic installations,
- gates rolled up and driven aside
|
Referring to fabric covered buildings the multifunctional buildings are such kind of buildings which fulfill different functions depending on season of the year.
It reconciles due to proper designing the same building can fulfill role of sheltered ice rink, one or many sheltered sports fields or field roofing without lateral walls.
Above-mentioned concept enables independent on weather condition yearlong miscellaneous exploitation.
Character of indoor object offered by RUBO allows their utilization as versatile buildings.
This effect is possible due to carrying construction which is calculated on operation of load from snow and wind for proper zones according to PN-80/B-02010/Az1 and PN-77/B-02011.
It has to be noticed, that these objects do not require warming for removal of snow from their roofs.
